Beyond the golf courses and recreation centers, The Villages also operates numerous softball fields, a polo stadium (The Villages Polo Stadium),and a woodworking shop. The newest softball complex, Soaring Eagle, opened on January 16, 2015
  • The Villages has more than 100 tennis courts.
  • There are over 100 pickleball courts in The Villages.
  • The Villages operates 11 parks, dog parks, and fitness trails.
  • There are 3 dog parks in The Villages (Paradise, Mulberry, & Brinson-Perry)
  • There are ten commercial areas (Lake Sumter Landing, Spanish Springs, La Plaza Grande, Buffalo Ridge, Colony Plaza, Southern Trace, Spanish Plaines, Mulberry Grove, Brownwood Paddock Square, and soon Antrim Dells (will be next to Brownwood Square).
  • There are over 2,400 organized clubs in The Villages
  • There are currently more than 63 recreation centers in The Villages.

Spanish Springs Town Square
This Villages town square has plenty of stores to shop in & new dining experiences to tempt your taste buds. In the eventing, nightly live entertainment takes place in the center of the square under the pagoda.
It has a waterfall on one side, a dance floor and entertainment pavilion, and ample space to sit and visit, or enjoy the nightly entertainment. The entertainment runs from 5pm to 9pm. every night.
The square's movie theater, The Rialto Theater, plays all of your Hollywood movie favorites throughout the year. Link to Rialto

Lake Sumter Landing Market Square
Lake Sumter Landing Market Square is a charming small-town themed square nestled on the shores of Lake Sumter. The square features several dozen retail shops and restaurants that overlook the square.
The lighthouse is also a beautiful landmark that signals fun, entertainment, and great food in the area. Residents can take a scenic boat tour of Lake Sumter and hear about the lake’s history while watching the sunset.
Lake Sumter Landing Market Square is also home to the Old Mill playhouse movie theater. Link to Old Mill
The square also features live acts and nightly entertainment every night throughout the year

Brownwood Paddock Square
Brownwood Paddock Square is the newest area of the community as of late 2013. The square resembles a cattle town and allows residents to get a glimpse of what it was like for the first settlers in Florida.
There are a variety of great opportunities in Brownwood Paddock Square, such as the Barnstorm Theater playing the latest Hollywood movies, City Fire restaurant, an athletic club, and a barber and beauty salon.
The log cabin on Paddock Square features free nightly entertainment throughout the year. With all of these great amenities nearby, it’s easy to see why so many residents never want to leave.
